The 3 P's of Sailing

Many are familiar with the 3 P's of business, people, process and product. Sailing is teaching me some new P's as we continue to prepare Jethro for our must have/nice to haves..... PROBING, PERSISTENCE and PATIENCE. We were planning no more than 4 weeks here in Spain but this adventure is testing me in ways I am not

familiar with nor have been very tolerant of. It has now been 6 weeks since I arrived here in La Linea, Spain and over 2 months for Iain.

For a planner it's a real challenge....the number of times I have come up with an alternative plan are too numerous to count and I am still not great at handling the disappointment of my latest plan being dashed. I hope to be able over time to not lose my desire to plan but be far more graceful in disappointment and moving to solution mode quickly
